Registrations of new and used passenger cars and commercial vehicles up to 6t GVW
The data base of vehicle registrations has been compiled based on the data obtained from the Central Vehicle Register (CEP), operated by the Ministry of Interior (MSW). The report contains figures on new and used passenger cars and commercial vehicles up to 6t GVW, registered in Poland for the first time.
Compared with the original database, the scope of the report has been expanded by adding a column with the corrected vehicle body type provided. The correction applies exclusively to brand-new cars available in the Polish market.
The database includes the following information:
- Vehicle make and model
- Vehicle type
- Engine capacity (expressed by using specific engine capacity brackets)
- Gross vehicle weight (GVW; the three specific GVW brackets are: up to 3450, 3450-3500, 3501-6000)
- Number of seats (brackets: up to 3; 4-5; 6-9; 10-15; 16-30)
- Production year
- Registration year
- Entity having the vehicle registered (private, corporate)
- Type of business having the vehicle registered (type of purchase) (dealer, vehicle importer, leasing, CFM, direct purchase)
- Name of the company having the vehicle registered (for leasing and CFM companies)
- REGON
- Province (Województwo)
- District (Powiat)
- Municipality (Gmina)
- TERYT
- Samar 2008 segmentation
- Fuel type
- Body type (as stated by the CEP)
- Engine power (as stated by the CEP, expressed in KW)
- Temporary registration
- Body type (corrected, applies only to brand-new cars)
A sample presenting the database structure is available in the .xls format and downloadable directly from the website.
Due to the considerable size of the basic database, the information available in the .xls format has been divided into smaller parts: one containing the monthly figures and 16 files covering each province, with cumulative figures provided. The database is also available fully in the .txt and .mdb formats.
