Used Car Market – First-time car registrations and re-registrations in Poland

The report has been compiled using data sourced both from the Central Vehicle Register (CEP) and from the Ministry of Finance. It shows the data on used cars imported from abroad and cars changing hands in Poland. The report outlines the scale of the used car trade (volumes of imports and re-registered vehicles), the structure of the used car market and, for imported vehicles, their value as declared by importers or buyers. All figures are presented on a monthly basis and cumulatively on a year to date basis.

Analysis of the data contained in the report, among other things, allows the reader to get detailed answers to questions concerning:
- the trends observed on the used car market in Poland;
- the volumes of used car imports and volumes of card changing owners in Poland;
- the volumes of used cars imported and registered in a given month ;
- age of cars typically put on the road by used car buyers;
- makes and models most popular with used car importers;
- average value of imported cars declared to the customs chambers;
- average value of excise tax paid on used car purchases;
- whether used car imports are in the increase or in decline.

The data in the Report is compared to the corresponding period of the previous year. All tables and graphs are available both in Polish and English.
