Poland: Mitsubishi Outlander tops 2009 sales table of SUV models

According to figures by Samar, Poland’s car market researcher, Mitsubishi Outlander was the most sold new SUV model here last year. This is how the Top-10 list shapes up:
- Mitsubishi Outlander: 3,156
- Honda CR-V: 2,402
- Volkswagen Tiguan: 2,078
- Ford Kuga: 1,789
- Suzuki Grand Vitara: 1,488
- Volvo XC60: 1,469
- Toyota RAV4: 1,442
- Kia Sportage: 1,296
- Audi Q5: 911
- BMW X6: 807

The Top-10 models listed above had a combined segment share of more than 60.3% last year.

The segment-leading Mitsubishi Outlander secured a segment share just over 11.3%, an improvement from the 2008 level of some 7.6%, when 1,823 units were sold.
