Poland: Kia cee'd estate wins comparison test beating mighty Volkswagen Golf

Date of publication: 2007-11-28 10:00:52

The Kia cee'd Sporty Wagon won a recent comparison test run by Poland's leading motoring weekly Auto Swiat, narrowly beating the Volkswagen Golf Variant. This may go to show that of the two cars it is the Slovak-built product that offers the Polish customer better value for money.

Ranked second overall with 454 points, the Volkswagen Golf Variant offers livelier performance on the road thanks to its 1.4-litre TSI engine with pioneering petrol technology. Additionally, the German-built estate has a more spacious cabin, comfortable seats for front-seat passengers, not to mention high-quality trim materials. The Golf Variant also scores higher on suspension performance.
