This year, Renault will extend the monthly quality checks it makes to its 3,400 dealers and subdealers worldwide.
"The focus of this plan is to improve sales and servicing in 26 key markets," Yann Vincent, Renault's senior vice president in charge of quality, told Automotive News Europe. "This means reaching out to some 70,000 people who repair our cars and 12,000 who sell them."
The French carmaker launched its Renault Excellence Plan about a year ago. The initiative aims to improve quality across the company from manufacturing to aftersales.
