October's Paris auto show will provide the venue for the unveiling of a replacement for Chevrolet's Lacetti lower-medium car. Given the current sales numbers in the Polish market, the Lacetti has been one of the brand's key products.
In 2007, the Chevrolet Lacetti broke the 1,000-unit barrier in Poland for the first time, with 1,754 units finding homes across the country. Crucially, the numbers reported for the first quarter suggest demand for the lower-medium model may be even stronger this year, with as many as 847 units sold through March:
- January: 268
- February: 349
- March: 230

Enjoying robust demand across Europe, Chevrolet is poised to keep the sales momentum going by launching even more new product. According to an Automotive News Europe report, the company is considering plans to roll out a minivan and a pickup.

Recently, Chevrolet Poland discontinued the Rezzo MPV.
